XTEMP (Pty) Ltd is proud to announce sales and support of Acutronic products.
The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building and investing in technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
Acutronic’s Simulation & Test Division is the global market leader in the development, design, and manufacture of Inertial Guidance Test Systems and Hardware-In-the-Loop motion simulators. These high-precision motion simulators are used in the aerospace, defense, automotive, and consumer electronics industries to test and calibrate inertial sensors (e.g., gyroscopes and accelerometers that measure movement); Inertial Navigation Systems; stabilized electro-optics; Electronic Stability Control Systems; and the in-flight engagement scenarios. Systems include single- and multi-axis rate tables, flight motion simulators, and target motion simulators.

Including work done by its predecessor companies Fecker and Goerz Optical, Acutronic has accumulated close to a century of experience in motion control technology. Over the last 50 years, Acutronic, Carco Electronics (purchased by Acutronic in 2005), and the Contraves Goerz Corporation (purchased by Carco in 1996) have delivered several thousand systems, many of which are still serviced by Acutronic today. Almost 100% of the Hardware-In-the-Loop systems delivered over the last 50 years have been designed and built by Acutronic and Carco Electronics.
Acutronic introduced the world’s first digital real-time motion controller, the ACUTROL®2000, in the 1990s. This tradition was continued with the introduction of the ACUTROL®3000 and 3000e digital motion controllers. In 2019, the all-new iMPACT™ controller and iMPULSE™ rate tables were released. Acutronic’s Simulation & Test Division recently inaugurated new facilities in Germany and India, to complement its existing locations in Pittsburgh and Switzerland.
